Marshall Trimble's judgement questioned
As reported by the March 11th post, Marshall Trimble, official state historian and AHS president, made a series of inaccurate statements when interviewed by Channel 3 about the mineral museum controversy. The resulting article and short version of the video are available at:

A very thoughtful comment by Steve Decker, a long time mineral museum supporter and K-12 science education volunteer, now questions why Marshall Trimble would jeopardize his long established reputation as state historian by distributing misinformation for the dysfunctional AHS. The comment, questioning Marshall Trimbles actions at length, appears below the March 10 article by Jay Crandall. Scroll way down below the many adds to see the comment. Then, wait a bit. Does Mr. Trimble have an answer for Mr. Decker?

Steve Decker's comments on the unbelievably poor judgement shown by Trible and AHS are spot on. The new board members have their work cut out for them to shape AHS up and get back to their mission.
ReplyDeleteHis judgement is questioned because he listens to Ann Woosley. But a director would want a board President who does what she wants. What does she want? For a $120,000 a year and not much to do not a bad job. And a board President who dos not care or is involved...not a bad gig!
ReplyDeleteSo it appears that the director of a state agency is not responsible to the State Legislators, the taxpayers and her own board and of course her own Board President who thinks she does a peachy keen job. Does Mr. Trimble even know what is going on. Somebody better inform him.
ReplyDeleteFunny! Somebody wake up Mr. "State Historian" Trimble. Somebody tell me why Trimble and the Board thinks she is so great? I would love to know.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's because she thinks Trimble is so great. He tows the party line without checking into things and likes Woosley. Two peas in a pod.
