Senator
Gail Griffin sponsored SB1200 to restore the mineral museum. She got
nearly unanimous votes in both House and Senate but did not get the new
Governors signature this year. She plans to reintroduce the bill next
year, and hopes to get the Governors support for restoring the museum
for the children.
Senator
Griffin is up for reelection in 2016. On May 20th, the Arizona Rock
Products Association is having a reception - fundraiser for her.

Why is it that this State Senator can figure out why the AHS has blundered so badly and is trying to fix this agency ...yet their own Board of Directors can't figure it out. Time to fire some the director and Bill Ponder.
ReplyDeleteIf the Board had done their job none of this would have happened. For instance....Oh we are taking over a mineral museum in at the capitol.....or we are going to spend millions at a Rio Nuevo complex in Tucson but it will never get built (and we will spend $1,400,000 on design plans for nothing).
ReplyDeleteWhy does the Board even exist if they can't make decisions like this.
I think I know the answer......Woosley does not tell them anything and they are too stupid to ask.
